Opsis (Ancient Greek: ὄψις) is the Greek word for spectacle in the theatre and performance. Its first use has been traced back to Aristotle‘s Poetics. It is now taken up by theatre critics, historians, and theorists to describe the mise en scène of a performance or theatrical event. (Wikipedia – Opsis)

For over 20 years, I have worked in Independent film, major motion pictures, commercials, industry videos and on the stage in the theatre. I have been a student of many world-renowned acting schools and trained by an exceptional class of private acting coaches. In 2005, I had the good fortune of being nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female for the Independent film “Robbing Peter,” an exciting and exhilarating experience that is a cornerstone of my career. Having focused on writing screenplays and television pilots as of late I began writing reviews as a means to stimulate the writing process. The reviews I write are an opportunity to immerse myself vicariously through other actors performances. A fair an honest evaluation is the goal that I pursue when making a review in an attempt to provide audiences a guide to the best sources of media entertainment. Thanks for reading! See you at the movies!
